THE KEY TO THE TOP

The very plan of God for mankind is to dominate and be above; He created ujs to rule over his works of hand. God created man for dominion. “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen. 1: 28 but in Gen 3 we saw the downfall of man due to sin. The Man that was created in the very image of God missed it and curse came on man. The privilege given to man was dashed until God himself brought a remedy by sending His son Jesus Christ for the propitiation.

Rom 5: 12 – 21 give us a brief analysis of how sin and righteousness came to an exchange. “ ¹² Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— ¹³ (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. ¹⁴ Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. ¹⁵ But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, 

abounded to many. ¹⁶ And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. ¹⁷ For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) ¹⁸ Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. ¹⁹ For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. ²⁰ Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, ²¹ so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

John 3: 16 also throw more light into this plan of redemption, from the time God introduced his son to pay the price for sin, righteousness came to full realization, from that time righteousness is attainable through the blood.

Righteousness has been restored to man, what was lost in the Garden of Eden has been restored,  this helping us to have a right standing in God through Christ Jesus.  In Isaiah 64: 6, the bible recorded that our righteousness is like a filthy rags: but when Christ died our unrighteousness was purged. Righteousness exalts a nation Proverb 14: 34 “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” For any believer to get to the top, then righteousness is needed.  Do you want to get to the top then walk with God in righteousness and holiness? Been righteous is a state of living a moral life that is required by God.

CONCLUSION

God is holy and He cannot behold iniquity but through righteousness is face shines on us and no level or height is unattainable when we are in right standing with God.
