Make Yummy Umm Ali Bread Pudding Ancient land of Egypt



This ancient and thriving bread in the historical Egypt is delicious and is a bread pudding that is served with a cup of chilled ice cream

Required Ingredients


5 cups milk 
1 (17.25 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon powdered vanilla extract
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup chopped pistachio nuts
1/4 cup sweetened, flaked coconut

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Unpack the puff pastry sheets and place flat on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until puffed and looking golden brown.
  3. Next, break the golden brown puff pastry into pieces and transfer into a large bowl.
  4. Add resins, almonds, pin nuts or other optional nuts, coconuts and shake or toss to for even distribution. Pour this into a glass baking dish of 9x13 inch and spread evenly.
You will then need to make a mix of milk, sugar and vanilla in a sauce pan and heat it unto hot but not up to boiling point. Pour over the mixture in the baking dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven. Once the baked item is brown on the top, remove and allow cooling for 5 minutes before serving it warm
